This canteen-shaped vessel with tapered spout depicts an important figure in frontal view, a typical Wari-style pose, with both feet in profile pointing outwards, three square toes, and long-nailed thumbs. Its richly decorated attire comprises bracelets, anklets, a shirt decorated with rows of diamond shapes, a belt divided into four panels, and a kilt with juxtaposed hook-like designs that might be representing a Wari elite textile. The head at the top of the spout shows a hat with diamond-patterned brim, large ear ornaments, and a long hair split into individual locks covering the back. This jar was found carefully wrapped in textiles next to the mummy of the queen of Castillo de Huarmey.
